Golden Ark Senior Citizens

Creating Wealth, feeding the poor, creating a better community

NPO:  096-006

About us

We are Senior Citizens from Braamficherville Phase 1, Siyabonga Section who have come together to start a vegetable garden to take care ourselves. We have been meeting for the past 4 years by our church to engage and look after one another.

We have enough space to produce food for the community and create employment for the youth in our area. However we lack resources to do so. We need to cultivate a 900sqm piece of land to plant more food.

Our garden is our pride. We managed to plough some piece of the land, irrigate our crops and produce vegetables through manual labor. As old as we are, it tends to be difficult.
